Summer Season

The Gold Coast Basketball Summer Season is the perfect way to keep playing, keep improving and keep the basketball fun going! Open to boys and girls across all junior age groups, Summer Season brings together regular competition, skill development and plenty of opportunities to grow alongside teammates.

Palm Beach Currumbin Magpies enters teams across all age groups, with players placed into teams following trials to create a positive, competitive and enjoyable season for every player.

Fees at a Glance

Magpies Club Fees - $440 - Every player

Gold Coast Basketball Registration - $75 - Every season

Basketball Queensland Registration - $91.47 - Annually

Basketball Australia Registration - $5.50 - Annually

Important: Basketball Queensland and Basketball Australia registration fees are only paid once per year. If your annual registration is still current from Winter, you will not pay these again.

Basketball Connect will automatically determine which registration fees apply to you.

When Do I Pay?

If BA/BQ Registration is CURRENT

- At Registration - $315

- By 31 October - $200

If BA/BQ Registration is DUE

- At Registration - $411.97

- By 31 October -$200

Your registration payment includes:

$240 – First instalment of Magpies Club Fees
$75 – Gold Coast Basketball Registration
Plus $96.97 for Basketball Queensland & Basketball Australia only if your annual registration is due

The $200 final Magpies Club Fee instalment will be paid directly to the club. A payment link will be emailed in October and is due by 31 October.

Play On! Vouchers can be used towards Magpies Club Fees.

Your Basketball Connect payment completes your registration. Players must be registered to attend trials.

Trials

Boys Trials – Sunday, 6 September

Tallebudgera Recreation Centre

U14 Boys -9:00 am – 11:00 am

U12 Boys -11:00 am – 12:00 pm

U16 Boys -12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

U18 Boys -2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Girls trial times will be advised in the coming weeks.
